Overview
With QS-DocumentAssembler QS QualitySoft GmbH offers a powerful, flexibly configurable software for sorting and indexing of scanned documents.
QS-DocumentAssembler recognizes barcodes from scanned documents and processes the documents automatically according to the barcode data. Barcode recognition is performed using QS-Barcode SDK library.

    • Scenarios
    The program is a helpful tool for various situations:

    Rename
    Documents are read from a source directory, document barcodes are interpreted, and the documents are saved in a target directory using the bar code as file name. The entire process is performed automatically without any user interaction required.

    Rename & Increment
    In addition to Rename, subsequent pages, or "following pages" without barcode can also be processed. They are assigned a barcode corresponding to the one just previously read. File names are created based on the bar code and a serial number.

    Rename & MultiTIFF
    Instead of creating new files with incremented file names, following pages are added to a MultiTIFF-file. This process creates one MultiTIFF file for each document containing its first page (with identifying barcode) and all its following pages (without barcode).

    Move & Index
    Following the barcode interpretation, the documents are moved and an index file is written that saves the barcode data for each document. QS QualitySoft GmbH continually develops new formats for these index files and compatibility with several archive systems is now possible.

    The application is easily configurated using the graphic interface.
    QS-DocumentAssembler writes information about all steps performed into log files, which can be later processed using your applications.
